Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shankar is an British and American sitarist. She also sings. She's the smallest woman and the first to receive a British House of Commons shield. Anoushka is the emerging star of Indian sitar. She is the student and daughter of Ravi Shankar. Born in 1982, she was raised in London. The first few years of her life were spent in London as well as New Delhi. She gave her debut performance in New Delhi at the tender age of thirteen.
