Kirsten Vangsness has been an American actress since the late 1990s. Her most notable role was as Penelope Garcia, in the acclaimed police procedural crime series Criminal Minds. Kirsten Vangsness appeared as Penelope Garcia in the tv series Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders and also in two of its spin-offs, including Criminal Minds: Suspect Behaviour. Although she's primarily known as a TV actor she also plays some smaller roles in films. Her first appearance was in the industry of entertainment in the year 1998. In the film industry, she's known for her work as a character in "In My Dreams", "The Chicago 8" and "Kill Me, Deadly". She's written in the Los Angeles Times and co-wrote episodes of "Criminal Minds". She is a lover of animals particularly cats. She has rescued and rehabilitated many injured and abandoned kittens.
